the way her
eyes- twitch. moments
when they pass away
like a past that
won't stay away,
and it's almost
laughable.

the way a human
has the capacity to want
something
that was never there
at the start.

but
it feels like
the start has never
really hit me,
because this
makes me wonder
if before -her
there ever was- a this.

and I gobble up her
future tense,
her dream state.
It's like longing
only I need
something more than
a metaphor
to convey
what .she. makes
someone like .me.
feel like.


so I stumble
through words
and figures
in a drunken stupor,
in hopes that
these words
can pull love
from those
eyes of hers.

because
I long.
for that which
I have never
felt. but-


she.
has every bit
of me.
Something a bit different. I like it. 

Theme #81: Pen and Paper. Kind of went the route of someone pouring out their inner thoughts in a journal/diary format. That moment when someone captivates you and consumes your every thought and written word.

This is fantastic.  I loved the distilled feeling of it, like you're floating in anti-gravity with nothing but this single emotion to keep you company.  The quirky punctuation was genius and added so much to the piece as a whole.  Awesome stuff, as always!  :highfive:
