A little Prompty Goodness...Poetry has its own National Month dedicated to it! The month of APRIL!
They even have a funny little acronym for it, NaPoWriMo. Those of us who write prose recognize this a little... Hmmm... sounds like NaNoWriMo. I am sure that is completely coincidental and the two have nothing to do with one another.
Well this is to get all of you in the mood to write some POETRY!
Check out this Journal if you would like to participate in a contest!
Prompt Chaos Begins!
Here is my list, in all of its Prompt-y goodness!
In my list of prompts should you choose to complete them,
you will learn about many different types of poetry.
All links will take you to Young Writers' Free Poetry Glossary that will explain each type of poetry so even a child can understand it!
